It was in 1986, after seeing first-hand how composite materials constantly outperform steel in various aviation applications when the Founders teamed up to build AeroSpheres. Jacob Asif’s passion for composite materials started during his time as VP of Engineering and Logistics at an Israeli Aircraft Industry subsidiary company. According to Jacob, “It was an innovative project to create a ballistic helmet that was made completely of composite materials” that first got him intrigued. Jacob’s passion for composite materials grew into deep expertise as he led the manufacturing of products made entirely from these materials for several aviation projects, including the Westwind and Gulfstream G100 business jets.
Pioneering new technology on a global scale
With years of industry experience, the founders collaborated with a select group of elite manufacturers to launch AeroSpheres Inc.’s inaugural line of products and solutions. Established in aerospace with over three decades, AeroSpheres has been at the forefront of qualifying hundreds of products, innovative technologies, and cutting-edge programs for aviation, defense, security, and aerospace projects around the globe.
